Some nights, when I feel up to the task, I try to get into the SP state. I do this by somewhat meditating while lying down and concentrating on my body rather then letting my mind wander and simply falling asleep.
By doing that, I can get what is best described as partial SP; my body will sometimes feel heavy, sometimes feel almost like its floating, sometimes buzz with vibrations. But here's my funky little problem: when I do this, I tend to welcome crazy hypnogogic hallucinations (stuff thats like an SP nightmare but im not paralyzed). By doing this I also sometimes fall into this very strange state when something just feels off; I never really know if I'm sleeping or wide awake. If I get to that point, then guaranteed, the rest of my night will be lost to lightning fast thoughts riddling my head, tossing and turning, and hardly any sleep.
So I ask anyone who cares: WHAT CAN I DO?
what can i do to push this pseudo-technique towards the ultimate goal of easily activating LDs? and the ultimate question: is what I'm doing even a technique???? or am I just getting proficient at attaining a meesed up night of sleep?!
