Nap WILD advice?
Ok, I thought I'd try and get into trying to WILD during napping, I never nap much, but I needed to when I was coming home from a long trip which involved quite a bit of walking. I tried WILD in the car, without SP because it was impossible. Nearly nodded off to sleep, but got myself in a kind of daze. When I got home, I tried to WILD on my bed seen as though my body was tired, I forgot how that went but I remember I went "Fuck it" and gave up.
When I went to my room after playing Guitar Hero III, I was kind of tired for some reason, probably because of college. I lied down and tried to WILD again, my mother was round making food. Whilst I was in that daze I was in when I was in the car, I kept going in and out very quickly of a dream, every time my mind did something by itself without me thinking of it, I would automatically focus out for some reason, I didn't even try to. But I gave up on it because my mum came upstairs with a plate of food. Ugh, then she asked me "Ahh, you doing something for Dream.....", which made me feel quite uncomfortable about doing it, and I kind of had a little bit of a go at her, nothing big though.
I remember this daze before though. It was in the car on the way home from a long car journey. In my head, I imaged a girl in her classroom with her teacher in school, learning the alphabet (desperate for sleeping technique). She would go "Aye, Ah. Bee, Buh". And once she got to Q, my mind took over and my mind automatically made her go "Que". Then my mind focused, and I gave up trying to sleep and just rested with my eyes shut.
But, just recently, I came home from a Mock Exam, and tried it, I tried imagining going down a set of stairs whilst going "One, I'm dreaming, two, I'm dreaming". I gave up because I didn't get in the daze, my mind was too busy remembering what to do.
So, telling this, can anyone give me some advice or tips to help me success with a WILD whilst taking a nap?

You're on the right track. :) The daze you are experiencing is most likely the hypnagogic state. Being conscious of the hypnagogic state is very good for WILDing. You will want to keep this awareness until you enter a dream.
From what I've read and from personal experience, you are likely to hit a REM cycle within 5 hours since when you last woke up.
You will also want to have a good "mix" of feeling alert, so that you can keep your consciousness and focus as you do a WILD, and also being sleepy so that you can actually fall asleep. Once you have some experience with WILDs, you will feel it when you are likely to have a successful WILD. It's like a balance between alertness and sleepiness.
Please let me know if you have more questions. :) I'm sure other experienced WILDers can share input, too.

Ok thanks, Luminous. :)
I'll keep that information in mind for next time I attempt.
