Very small percentage is super high :(
Out of 9 months of LDing , maybe 8 dreams were "super" lucidity
enough are super high. I live for those so if it were really rare Id be quite upset. Id say half and half, maybe.
wow gameover does that come by time and practice or do u just have a good imagination?
why are some dreams super high and some just normal? i know about the different levels of lucidity but there seems to be a jump from "normal" lucidity to "super high". anyone have any personal experience on increasing lucidity? i've read about yelling "INCREASE LUCIDITY" but that never works for me.
gameover- did you start out having a lot of super high dreams or did you "practice" up to it or whatever?
"Increase lucidity" works incredibly well for me. One of my first induced lucid dreams was a WILD, and whenever the dream doesn't end in the first couple of seconds, I am able to greatly increase my level of lucidity to something very close to that.
Yes i have had that super lucidity before.. and also I discovered that there is ultra super lucidity too... it's similar to being omnipresent or really is very aware of the surroundings. It's truly a bliss. You should try aiming for that level.. it's so awesome! :D
This conversation is funny because a person's definition of each level is relevent to himself. What one person describes as super lucidity might be ultra super duper lucidity to another person.
so has anyone ever woke up from a dream and you like got up and still didnt no if it was a dream? is that how detailed ur LD's are? that you seem to be in real life but you just know its a dream
Okay, I think the key here is to survive the first few seconds of "OMG A LUCID DREAM, WHOO!!!"
After that, work on stabilizing and prolonging the dream. Shout commands, run your hands through grass or along a wall, observe your surroundings. Stand and think for a bit, bringing in more of your conscious self. Throughout all of this, your dream should become more and more vivid. :D
Death-Wuad, you're right. But Ill describe my high level of lucididty. It feels like real life, only everythings brighter and magic is possible. Everything is so vivid and clear I can stare t it wide eyed in complete awe, and starte are the deatails of anything.
And I don't think it took a lot of practice, my dreams got very vivid before doing WBTB, but WBTB is what got me mroe vivid ld's and more frequent. WBTB has pretty much has given me the perfect conditions to get good at lucid dreaming. My WBTB LD's are long and clear and easy to induce. So now my DILD's are quite vivid also, but still Id say half and half.
Back to the original question: I’ve had one super lucid since I joined dreamviews, super lucids for me being the type where the imagery is photographic.
Was that a question?
We should have a rating system for ld's:
1- Being the ld where it ends in a nano second after becoming lucid, and it was so unrealistic that it would have sucked anyway.
10- Being the highest. Everything is so realistic that you can barely tell it's a dream. You feel, hear, smell, see, and taste as if it were reality. We live for this type of dream.
Okay, here's a question for you fine folks here at Dreamviews. :D
I had a LD that lasted (seemingly) all night. It was more like a past life regression. I was nine years old and I died of drowning. I didn't realise I was dead so I stayed with my mother. After several years, she took in a boy who had lost his family. I could communicate with him in dreams though. As he was dying, I understood that I was to help him "Come across"
There's a lot more but the point I'm getting at is, was that a super lucid dream or Out Of Body Exper.? And what's the difference between the 2?
