Failed WILD Attempt Last Night

Last night I decided to try to WILD. I tried it before sleep which I think is a mistake and I am not going to do it again, because it wasted a lot of time and I wasn't in the right stage of sleep when I got up again (2 hours later -_-).

But I am getting closer to being able to do it. I counted to 100 about 5 or 6 times. And I was at a point where I felt myself going into a semi dream state. I felt the tingly warm vibrations, and as I was counting I felt my body lift out on every number, and then when I said "I'm dreaming," I fell slowly back into myself. It was a really neat feeling and I was excited that it was going to start working but I got too concentrated on keeping the feeling and I lost it.

What other sensations have you guys felt at that state? And what technique do you think works best? The constant counting one or the regular concentration one where you daydream and stuff?

People feel all kinds of stuff while trying to WILD, mild to violent vibration, tingles, etc.

When I WILD I usually feel like I'm being pulled around by the top of my head, or like I'm about to fall off of my bed. Sometimes I feel gentle rocking. I tend to hear music. I like to WILD early in the morning, when I still have 2-4 hours of sleep left. Sometimes I do a short (5-10 minute) WBTB, but often I don't. Generally I count "one" on the in breath and "two" on the out breath and just repeat those 2 numbers because if I keep my mind awake enough to count to 100 I am too awake to WILD.

That's a good suggestion I'll try that. It's 3:30 right now and I just failed another attempt. Which makes me quite sad.

I kept on waking up and it took me about an hour to get to sleep cause I convinced myself that tonight was the night! And then when the alarm went off I only had about an hour of sleep in me >_<

I need to be adopted! I need a teacher! =P
