So hear this special little herb can help induce lucidity. now I don't want to become dependent on it to dream but I wouldn't mind trying it, if it is successful. anyone have any insight on this? it would be greatly appreciated!

it helps me sleep but its hit or miss with the dream induction
As much as any of us would like to believe otherwise, there just isn't anything that guarantees vividness, higher recall, or lucidity in dreams, at least at this point in time.
There are studies that have shown a statistical increase in the length of REM (dreaming) sleep and a decrease in non-REM sleep following the use of C. Zacatechichi. Other than that, everything else is subjective. I would suggest trying it with an open mind, but it's not likely that you, or anyone else, will become dependent on it. All it will do is augment any potential dream you will have (hence its label as a potentiator). Calea itself doesn't cause dreams or lucids, it merely creates a more conducive atmosphere for them to occur within (longer REM periods).
