was this SP?
ok so the other night i was laying in bed sleeping and i wake up and dont know why, as i wake up hear my door i always keep shut creaking closed or open, i freak out and keep my eyes closed for a bit, i wake up more and the noise stopped. i dont think it would have been anyone because i have this little pomeranian i sleep with and whenever someone opens my door he goes crazy barking. so is this sp? i tried to get to sp and wild but have not been able to do it yet.

I'm not sure if that's exactly a part of SP. But it definitely sounds like some auditory halucinations. It's very common I get it a lot too. I've also wondered if some of the sounds I have heard were real or in my head. But I also have a dog that sleeps near me that would bark at a sudden noise. So I knew it was just in my head. :)

That's the kind of sound you could expect to hear, but the sensation of being paralyzed is pretty unmistakable imo.

idk i didnt try to move for a while because i was so scared

Fear is defiantly a big part of the SP phenomenon.

yeah ive had SP a few times, and one time i was lying face up... it was horrible, waking up looking around in pitch black not being able to move, tricking yourself into hearing these crazy ass sounds, lasted for about 2 minutes, worse 2 minutes of my life. then i jumped outta bed turned the light off and was like Shit!, then fell back asleep.
