idea on attaining and remebering dreams/lucid dreams

Every night i remeber anywhere from 2-4 dreams, and after awhile i began to see patterns in the dreams, similarities with the dreams and my everyday life. I decided at the end of each day to make a small list of the major events, or what i was thinking about the most recently. Then upon awakening i cross reference my dreams with my list of events. Nearly 70% of the time there are similarities, which were becoming more frequent.
After discovering this i began to think, how could this help me obtain lucidity on a more frequent basis? And i realised using the list i make each day i could try to remeber to do a reality check every time i see something on my list. So if i spent the whole day swimming or wakeboarding, when im about to go to sleep i repeat to myself water reality check! over and over, and before you know it im having a dream im driving a boat do a reality check and instant lucidity.

I was thinking of conducting my own lil evaluation of certain brain entrainment products... but I don't think I could be bothered.

laberge speaks of doing something similar to that in his book, using those dreamsigns is part of my entire routine. glad to see someone else finding this idea useful. i've seen people with different variations on this theme as well :)
