Friend is a Natural - Though everyone did it

The conversation went like this:

Me: Have you heard of lucid dreaming?
Friend: What's that?
Me: It's being aware that you are dreaming while you are dreaming.
Friend: Oh, I do that all the time.

This wouldn't be that frustrating, except he is NOT the kind of person that will work for something over a long period of time. I once got him interested in magic, and he just stopped after about a week. By that time, his rich parents had bought him all this crap for it. Seriously, there are NO hobbies of any kind, besides video games. And even in video games, puzzles are a no-no. Just fighting.

Sigh...

Yeah I know a guy who says he can lucid dream all the time. He makes fun of me when I talk about how hard it is to do.

Ask him how well he can manipulate his dreams. At this point, your friend may claim that he doesn't want to, or forgets, or can't. I doubt any single person is a perfect dreamer, all the time. Some naturals don't see any usefulness in controlling, or even remembering their dreams. Other naturals don't know they can.

lol its kinda sad, i used to be like that and then i came here and learned about getting better control and recall. its a lot of fun if nothing else :D

When people who know nothing of lucid dreaming say that they do it all the time, most of the time they're wrong. In my most of my dreams I do exert some control, yet actual lucid dreams are still fairly rare. If you explain to the person that they need to know that they're in their bed and it's not real and all that, they'll probably revise their claim.
