Lucid Dreaming Control
Well, i've had about 8+ lucid dreams, this summer, but I can never really control or do anything. It's always going to 3rd and 1st person, so i'm just wondering if there's anyway to help me get past this hurdle so I can actually control my dreams? Oh, and i'm sorry if this is in the wrong section..

Well. What do you mean by going to 3rd and 1st person? I would think that
1st person is what you what, thats how all of my dreams are anyway.
Maybe try to focus on only one aspect. For example, if you're walking, just try to stop walking or maybe focus on changing the direction that you are walking. Just focus on the basics, don't try to get too in depth.
Also, you have to believe/know that you can do it. If you doubt yourself then it will be very hard to acomplish anything in your dream.
I hope this helps. You may get a lot better info from others, but this may help in the mean time.

Do you mean "control" as in manipulate stuff, or control as in just your own actions? If it's just your own actions, as soon as you realize you're dreaming, tell yourself "STOP!" and just stand where you are and try moving your arms around. Maybe do a reality check to reassure yourself that it's all just a dream. When it comes to manipulating stuff, it's like apfire26 said. Believing and confidence are everything in lucid dreaming. If you've every seen the Matrix, remember the whole 'there is no spoon' scene? Try recreating that in a dream. I did that a week or two ago. Since then, my control has skyrocketed.
