No More Intimidation
Im always hearing left and right about how lucid dreaming takes a lot of hard work, determination, and mental strain. I think that this attitude makes it harder for people because they feel its so far from thier grasp. Lucd dreaming is fun, and is not hard work. There are things you do to make it work better but it should be like homework and shouldnt be stressfull. I think the reason all of these "quick fixes"(B6,binaural beats, herbs) work are because of the placebo effect ... . . . . ...meaning if people would start telling other people that this isnt that hard and very much in reach, then people could start having them more frequently with less worry. It took me 2 weeks to start having frequent lucid dreams, I think mostly because I believed it would happen, and was having fun learning about it. I never stressed about it at all...until more recently when I started having less lucid dreams. But it was slight and due to my new job, and I relaized the stress made it harder. But now Im cutting out all of the bullshit, and getting back to where I started. Lucid dremaing is fun! And all the "work" that it takes is part of the fun! Lucid dreaming is not difficult..its not stressfull..and anybody can do it.

yay :D I love encouragement lol. I've been discouraged lately 'cause I've had to cut down on all the techniques (losing sleep!) but I'm sure I'll be able to practice every once in a while to where I'm able to LD regularly
:)

well said gameover! :D
It really is annoying when people say how hard you have to work to have a LD. It makes me have less faith when I try.
Simple encouragment is all thats need! It's easy to work when you're having fun eh?

Yeah..the whole process is fun, and totally worth it. A notice a lot of people feel very intimidated and feel like it's a long uphill battle ahead...which makes it much harder than it has to be.
