Um Help i think i mite be close?

A few posts below this1 there is one about Trance Induced Lucid Dreaming...sorta of moving bak and forth for 5min telling urself you will become lucid at 10, and you are counting 1-10, then going to bed and picturing urself doing it...thats a very reduced version...I did this last night as i lay in bed telling my self i WILL become lucid i WILL become lucid...and well i came to a point where i could not feel my hands anymore they had been folded together but i could not tell...they were numb? i think this was close or sumthing? In the morning i tried the same thing but i dint get up and move back and forth i just went straight to picturing myself...again numb hands..but then nothing seems to happen and i give up.. btw this was my sleeping shceduale

Woke up at 8:15 today

does that effect my attempts at becoming lucid?:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

When I try any techniques I also have some kind of numb feeling after some time. Don't know if thats close to sp or just anything else. I'd like to know too.

P.S.: There is no technique I tried that would have even let me sleep. I always just after some time turn around and sleep normally, cause I can't while trying
