08 LD's:28 Tasks of the Month Completed:5 Adopted Hollings
Current Lucid goals:
1: Have one WILD.
2: Fight Agent Smith.CHECK
3. Swing through a city like Spider-Man.CHECK
Thanks for the quick reply! Also, would a WILD be possible for me, just starting out? Or are they a bit too challenging for someone completly new? |

Depends on the person really. I've been LDing for almost a year, and I've yet to have my first WILD. Then I see people's signatures where there first or second LD was a WILD! I'd say go for it and even if it fails, practice never hurts, and you may get a WBTB induced lucid. |

Thanks a lot! I think I will try then. I think that answers all my questions. Thanks for the help! |

Yeah, Pastulio's right. You dont necessarily need good dream recall in order to WILD. Dream recall is however, important when it comes to DILDing. But my first LDs were all WILDs too, so like Pastulio said, there's no reason why you cant work on WILDing and your recall at the same time. |

Theoretically, you could lucid dream with no dream recall at all, it just wouldn't do you any good because you'd forget it all before you woke up. You probably have good enough recall to remember the majority of your lucid dreams. Lucid dreams are much easier to remember than normal dreams anyway, because they usually happen just before you wake up, are much more interesting, and require more thought. |

I find that 90% of my lucid dreams end with either my exciting or frustrating myself into wakefulness. This could definetely account for easier recall of them on my part at least. Waking up during a dream is about the best way to remember it. I just need to learn to control my emotions a bit better heh. Funny because I hide my feelings quite well in the real world, but that's not a good thing. Interesting it's almost a complete lack of control when in a dream. Compensatory maybe? |
