How long is too long when doing a WBTB? Is more than 8 hours too much, or does it all solely depend on the individual and how easily they fall asleep? Because when I wake up 6 hours into sleep, I fall asleep again FAST. Usually not into a lucid dream, but I will go back into a memorable dream that I then record in the morning.
Best to experiment as its bound to be different for each person.
LaBerge did a study where he found getting up an hour early, staying awake for that hour, then returning to sleep was a good method.

Although many people have many different styles when WBTB'ing. I myself find that staying up any long amount of time makes falling back asleep too difficult. Some people only need to stay up a minute, a few minutes, etc. So Experiment! Have fun and see what really works for you.
I've been up for an hour and smoked a fat bowl to help myself relax. I think I just slept for a little too long though, maybe 8-9 hours before I woke up.
What about naps? You don't need to Wake Back To Nap do you? Then the nap might end up a few hours instead of one or two.
So for the SECOND TIME, right as I'm reaching SP the same person that ruined it last time has to call my phone twice in a row a few minutes ago. Fucking wakes me up right out of it AGAIN. :bang:

No worries, my rage was focused on the person that ruined yet another potential WILD, so I didn't really care. ;) However, if anyone had been in my room and made a remark of such nature I might've ripped their head off, as I was pretty pissed.Quote:
