My first experience with SP!

Yayage! I decided to fall asleep with Ninja's Subliminal Audiomessages on a loop, and I felt my limbs getting heavier and heavier. After about 20-30 minutes my hands started tingling and before I knew it I was shaking all over! Like I was dropped on antarctica with only my boxers on :P. I got a hard-on, my eyes started twitching, and it felt like my point of gravity was slowly changing. Like I was lying on a cliff sideways, or something like that. A really weird experience, I can imagine that people think they get possessed by a demon if they've never of SP before.

However, I didn't WILD though. :( Better luck next time! :lol:

Congrats :D You are right, I thought I was possesed in my first SP. Next time try to act like you are getting out of your body. It really helps or just imagine you are entering to a LD. I think we already talked about this yesterday at chat :)

This sounds like my first WILD attempt (without Ninjas tape).
You don't dream right after falling asleep at night.
Try WILDING after 5 hrs sleep.

I got SP after a few minutes night before last, I felt like I was farting but without the noise or smell, I started shaking, tingling, everything! I actually didnt mind it that much, didnt scare me at all! I was getting so close to a WILD but them my mum's radio went on to wake everyone up :(

Hmm, I read in the tutorial section that the actual shaking doesn't last longer than a couple of seconds. I'm quite sure I shook for more than 10 minutes though :s.

Ya that sounds like you hit SP to me. Been there plenty of times, and the shaking you guys are talking about is subjective to everyone. Some say it feels like being electrocuted but painless. Others say it feels like the end of days. I remember it was pretty violent for me my first time. My heart was goin a mile a minute and when I woke up I was sweatin cold bullets. keep up the good work, and stay enthusiastic.

I feel there is definitely two stages to it.
Theres a tingly warm wave that washes up your body. I've experienced this a number of times.

And then theres a much stronger one as you go under...I've experienced this only once.
But woke myself up by swallowing. I feeling like being electrocuted, but without the pain is quite a good way to describe it.

So if id gotten through this, would I have woken up in a dream?

I've had 4 WILDs through what you described (SP). Just try to be calm and visualize your room. When you see it you'll start LDing. It'll be very different from seeing with your actual eyes. So you don't have to worry if you might open your actual eyes and woke up. But once you stablize it, it'll become like reality. That is the fun part when you say waooowwww !!!! :D

Seconded. I've made it to that tingly warm wave many times before, but the actual SP was new for me. After the SP wore off I did not enter a dream automatically. I think I should've just laid still and visualize like there was no tommorow. Visualization is not one of my best skills, though.

I have yet to LD, but I was playing around with WILD today and I think that I may have reached SP, this is what I felt:

I was trying to focus on my HI in order to stay aware, but I wasnt getting any really vivid or understandable images. After about 25 minutes I started to see a bright light, and I felt like I was shaking, but I didnt feel my actual body shake. It felt as if I had turned to water on the inside and started to slosh around. I also felt warm. An image of my room started to form, nd I assumed that it was a dream. I alowed myself to open my eyes, and started to do reality checks, but I turned out to be fully awake. Was this SP? Also, Is is possible that I might have openned my real eyes along with my dream eyes, causing me to wake up?

Seems to me that this two stage thing isn't that well reported on the forums.
Lots of people might mistake the 1st part, which is still quite strange after all, for SP.

I'll have a better idea of what to expect next time I try it.

Had another read through the tutorials. this seems to confirm my thinking

I really think that the difference between 1st and 2nd stage vibrations aren't made clear enough.

last night i reached the first wishy washy warm feeling stage that everyone talks about, then there was calmness i didnt know what to do, how test if i was in SP, so i tried to move and did and resest the whole cycle, i was very anoyed with myself.
could it have been one of these 2 things

1)the warm washy feeling was the first stage and if id kept still the second stage would have come.

2)the warm washy feeling was me snapping out of the SP as i suddenly became aware of it (aka the body realised i wasnt asleep and aborted the SP).

i am really lost as to were to go from there

Probably this one. I can see how you might think this was full SP.
Even on its own its fairly unusual.

Sounds like you want to keep at it a bit longer. Then the party starts!
