How long does it take you to WILD? I haven't had one yet.
I've had it take anywhere from literally 10 seconds, to a half hour. It just really depends on how awake you are, how easy it is for you to relax, and past experience with WILDs. On average though, when I do WILD and get to the point where I can cross over into the dream, its normally within 30 mins or less of trying.
All the times I've tried I've only gotten numb, once there was a tingly feeling running down from my head but nothing after that.
Will having a few DILDs improve your chances of successfully WILDing?
Kreature makes a good point. It can vary depending on all these factors and also how many times you fail to fully WILD (atleast for me). What I mean is when I start to WILD it takes me a few atempts before I can fully fall into the dream state sometimes, but the tingling and such come back within a few minutes if I do not let my self move or get distracted.

I said 5 minutes. I have spent hours in futility, but the few I've gotten happened very very fast. DEILD and naps and all that jazz.
i literally just had one, in my seat at the computer, ive been awake for 2 days but just smoked a cigarette after watching an episode of its always sunny in philadelphia, went in to a wild within 30 seconds of trying to approximately, had TWO dreams, in between them i had a falsa awakening but suddenly realized i was dreaming when i spun away from my computer desk into another room, extreme lucidity in both dreams, i FINALLY became spiderman, it was perfect control, perfect lucidity, the exact setting i wanted, new york in mayhem, me flying through the streets on webs, ya, sounds cheesey but i always thought thatd be pretttttty f**kin cool, and, at the end of that one i flew, as spiderman, first time being able to fly in a lucid dream as well, though ive had 10 before
Usually 30 seconds - 2 minutes, i never do WBTB, in fact just after waking i simply change position and start focus breathing...
The few times I have done it was immediatly after a WBTB usually takes me 1-5 minutes under such circumstances, when I am more awake however it takes 15-20 minutes.
