Ok, I've not been trying to do alot of reality checks latly, i think somehow i lost my inspiration so i'm going to start reviewing everyones dreams again to give me more edge... im a nocternal peson i sleep during the day and work on my pc during the night so most of the time im sitting at my pc, and im out about 3 4 times a week an stay at random sluts houses on weekends for a bit of fun lol... but anyways... i need to s tart doing more reality checks...:

Last nite i had a dream where there was some random wierd guy standing next to my bed, but i noticed it wasnt my bedroom straight away... it felt asif i was there as if it was as real as me telling my dad that it was as real as talking to him, he then told me i was dreaming, i dont quite remember asking him if he was my dream guide, but i got the feeling that i knew... but i've never seen him before, and he seemed to know everything... he wasnt me so im not sure about th whole dream guide, but my main thing i wanted to do was have a lucid and meet my dream guide, im not sure if this was an actuall lucid dream though for the main reasons : i asked him to help me gain controll... he said: ' wish that you had a gun in your hand or something, will it ' so first asked him...: 'how long can i close my eyes for in a dream?' he replied: 'mehhh (in a squeeky long breathed way) a pretty while...' i then said ok and closed my eyes and said to myself ' i wish that there was a gun in my hand ' the wierd thing was when i closed my eyes i could still see everything that went on, i could see me standing there, i could see him standing there... i really did know i was dreaming but i dont know if i was lucid... i then opened my eyes and there was no gun their, he didnt explain why... i felt my dream was about to end because i closed my eyes it wasnt as stable, the next thign we we're in some random drive way (a big mantion one) and he said try flying, so i ran and jumped an fell and slid across the floorr... he said to me : ' nearly , you see the skid marks, it shows your getting better ' and then i woke up.


Can you all please try and help me find more ways to become lucid, more reality checks etc??? i tryed th fingers through palm again That does NOT work for me in dreams. so far the only one i have tryed is holding my nose and breathing and it has only worked once.... i have had 7 DILDS now, NONE have been controlled.... i think this was a WILD though because the last thing i remember was laying in bed breathing and humming, my feet where tingling like crazy and they were really really hot, my legs were hot too, my hands started to feel like they were falling through my body ,and then the next thing i remember some wierd dude was st anding over my bed but it was a completly different bedroom

sounds like you might of had a wild (correct me if im wrong)

the technique How it fails

finger through the palm (your finger streatches through)
count your fingers (they would look different or you have to many)
look at a clock (should be going crazy)
plug you nose and try to breath through it (you should be able)
Look at the ground (looks like a different floor than it should be)
bite your tounge (should feel as though its numb)
try to read something (should change when you look at it again)
look in a mirror (should be really fuzzy or not yourself)
try to change the light levels (it should not change no matter what)
jumping (you should fall slowely or hover)

These are all I can remember now I'm sure there are move than this.

Try writing your DJ in increasingly more detail each day... hopefully this will increase your awareness.

Try being aware in every situation, both life and dream. Anytime you think somethings weird, do an RC.

try the Wake-Back-To-Bed method, its a classic and has great success rates. Go to lucidipedia.com for more info, they have a great learning section.

BTW, is your avatar a real place, because a place I visited over the summer (and have been trying to get to in my lucid dreams - its in my lucid goals in my sig ;)) looks nearly identical to that!

Yeah its my dream gettaway, its where i go when i become lucid, fact is, ive been trying for about a month now to become lucid, but i havnt at all had any inspiration, havnt really thought about it, the only thing i do is try and WILD when i go to bed, im never sure if it works or not because i just WILD, i never WBTB Then WILD i just Randomly WILD but yeah its a real place i was told is nice in your dreams, you can controll teh waves etc, so im trying my hardest to VILD into there.
