Sorry, that should be "What do I do..."
Lately, I've found myself waking up before my body wakes up and I try not to move for as long as I can because I know it has something to do with LDing, but I'm not sure where to go from there.

Sleep paralysis can be used to get into a WILD. It's just one of the steps, but an important one. Read the tutorials on Sleep Paralysis and WILDs. :)
I'm sure all you need to do is wait until a dream-like scene pops up, and wait to see if it'll pull you in. You can also try imagining it'll pull you in, or as a last resort try force yourself in. But who am I to talk, I haven't had 1 yet . I'm gonna try it again soon.
Most of my LDs follow SP episodes.. But I don't wait for a scenario to unfold..
The best way for me is to succumb to the SP, just go with it. Which is difficult with the fear that accompanies SP.. But compose yor self and give into it.. What follows maybe what is classified as a false awakening - I find myself sprung from my bed - I make my way through the bedroom, down stairs, through the front door and out into a wider imaginary outside world! I consider this a normal stage of events, an A to B type of way, but it works for me..
Once I hit SP, I "roll out of my body". I can't move, but I know I can get into a dream if I throw myself out of bed or the couch (where I usually experience SP). I can't really explain it. Sorry.
When I find myself in SP, I've rolled out of bed (always resulted in a FA though) or just tried to move my hands. I can usually move my dream hands and feel the wall next to my bed. From there I can usually continue feeling along the wall to the door until a dream scene forms around me (always wherever I was sleeping in these cases).
Try to get vibrations and an OBE. Think of a song in your head, which in waking life you have assigned as a 'cue', and you might get them (or thats how I did it anyway). The experience might be freaky as fuck, but hey, its an experience and it's certainly not boring.
PS. I'm not suggesting that OBEs are literally out-of-body experiences but you can get them in the SP state, whatever they are.
You can also have a normal WILD too, maybe if you try to imagine a nice scene it will eventually envelop your conscious attention.
