you guys!!! you guys!!! LUCIDNESS!!!

i had my first real LD last night, without doing WBTB or anything like that... i just stayed up till like 2 working on my computer, then i was REALLY sleepy, went to bed. My dream was like i was just standing in my mothers room, its dark, and im just looking at this red clock on her desk opposite the bed. When I noticed i think something black on my left hand, or maybe i just felt like this was a dream, it was a feeling, i know that. I got really excited after i knew it was a dream, and almost woke up, but i remembered the spinning dealio, and i did it, and it was okay again. A few seconds later i said, increase brightness, and it worked!! i was like in this weird place you know kinda where they loaded up the guns in the matrix, except there was nothing there, then i became really excited again, lost concentration, and just felt like i knew i was going to wake up. my eyes opened, and i said, oh shit. it was over :cry:

you guys are awesome!! I never knew how many people there were that are actually as excited about LD as i am! i just had my first LD (since a few years ago) and i very excited and ready to go back to sleep! haha

Lucky you, still ain't had my first one yet, how long was you trying for mate? I'm on my 2nd week now :(

honestly.. the first night

but i did alot of reality checks throughout the day.. looking around stuff at work making sure im not dreaming (numbers and letters). I did that at least twenty times and i did when i started laying down.. as i was catching myself getting tired, i started repeating "im gonna LD tonight and remember it" then i fell asleep.. in the middle of my dream, i thought to myself, "wait, i need to do a reality check" looked at one of the names of the stores, turned around then looked back it and the name changed. from that point on i was conscious and was now controlling what i was doing

i know you are like wth the first night?!? but ive done this years ago with great success just never stuck with it so maybe the technique has kinda stuck with me. you'll get it though!! tonight, i hope to become Lucid again and possibly try changing the scenery or flying or whatever comes to mind
