First Attempt I think I got it?

So I was attempting a LD or WILD for my first time. I got to the point where I wanted to move so bad, my eyes starting twitching and i could barely feel my body.

I could move my body if I really wanted to, but I thought i was in a LD. Although all I could think about was if I was in one or not, I'm pretty sure my body was asleep and my mind was just awake. I didn't have a dream or anything, for about an hour or so i laid there, body numb, mind awake. No dreams... So I decided to get up and try again. Once I literally Forced my body to wake up, it felt as if I was just waking up for the first time, but my brain was alert.

So I ask you, where was my dream?

Well, I believe one of two things happened:

You were either awake the whole time, or you were dreaming that you were laying in bed, trying to LD. I think the only one that can decipher which of those really happened is you.
