It might keep your ears attached to external mode though.
Yes this is correct. I had a series of Lucid songs with underlaying frequencies. Each track usually produced a certain kind of dream. One was always zombies, one was always an adventure, one I was always trapped somewhere, etc. Listening to music while sleeping indeed has a major effect on your dreams.
For me, Music keeps me awake. Which could be a good thing for Lucidity. I know it has worked for people before. Try it out and tell us :)
I LOVE the answers i have been getting on this site. they tickle my subconscience. lol. uh really not that funny but i like it
Music is a key factor in a sleep paralysis inducing method me and a few friends came up with. Heres a link to the tutorial on the method if your interested.

Music should help your mind state. Just last night, for example, I was listening to music and I was staring at my window, and (you know, those parts that stretch across the glass to support the window?) just started fading away into a brown. Soon after, the other ones did the same until my whole room was flooded with brown.
Oh, and this was with my eyes open the whole time.
AND it happened more than once and I could control when to a certain extent.
Also, did you know that hearing a sound and also seeing an image is what is called synesthesia? I happen to be one, and the word 'lucid' to me is an eminent, white hum that just really makes me joyful. Guess I have an advantage embedded in my subconscious!
