Hey in Billybobs WILD tutorial he says to have something to passively focus on. At first I used a hand which a lay on which worked but I don't want to do that just in case I nack my hand. I can't use a tv because I share a room. So what can I use which will sustain my attention?

i find thinking of a nice, slow, soothing instrumental or beat of a song clears my mind, and thats what we must strive for, a clear open mind when falling asleep. here is what sooth's me:
