Getting better?
I was having one of those dreams where it feels so real and I could see detail. I literally realized it was an LD and as I stepped into the next room and contemplated what I would do, I awoke. I was not overexcited, and I could still see where I was as I literally felt myself lying in bed and woke up.

Is this your first time having an LD?
Sometimes people will awake very early on their first LD. I would guess that it's also natural to wake up early whenever you have a dream. You just have to learn how to make them last longer.

Well good job on having a very vivid LD, even if it was very short. If you keep doing what your doing, they will get longer. What method did you use to LD?

To me it sounds like the biggest problem was that you could feel your body lying in the bed. The millisecond that I start to think about my body, let alone feel it (which is really pushing it) I tend to wake up immediately. If you ever find this happening try to immediately grab something in the dream and feel it for texture, temperature, etc. Try to feel the ground beneath your feet, not the bed beneath your body.
