What is this called?
I think my lucid dream induction technique is different than most other people's.
I'm not very good at WILDing. I've only ever had 1 partial success. I've tried MILD and DILD, but neither of them work too well. lately, however, I've had more success. The weird thing is, I "wake up" in a dream fully conscious. It's kinda like a WILD, but I just go to sleep regularly. There are no reality checks needed, and not even a second of being non-lucid. What is this called?

If you didn't go from sleep to dreaming consciously, then it isn't WILD. I'd say it is DILD. You were in a dream, and recognized it from the start. Good job. :]

If you lost consciousness at any point, then it is not a WILD.
It sounds like this may just be a natural DILD that you became aware of early on. Becoming lucid during a dream makes it a DILD, regardless of whether you had to RC or not. Or maybe you were partially aware and so when you saw something, you realized it had to be a dream, which I guess would make it a WILD. No one else experienced it so no one else will be able to tell you. What do YOU think it was?
How do you know there wasn't a non-lucid dream prior to it? Is it possible that you just do not recall that portion of the dream?
I think I have had this a couple of times, but because my consciousness lapsed I just call them DILDs.
