I'm getting closer!
I've had a total of three dreams this last week that indicate to me that I'm close to lucidity. The first one I think I mentioned...I saw my hands and noticed that they were yellow and funny looking, but figured it was because I was nervous and didn't think to do another RC.
The second one I actually looked in a mirror. I saw my face very clearly, with great detail! And I looked much thinner, and had a bit of facial hair...basically a short beard and stache. As I looked, I wondered how I had so much facial hair, since I had just shaved earlier in the day (which I really did IRL).
The last dream was about renovations, which has been a reoccurring theme this week. The toilet paper holder was mounted where the light should go. I had pulled on the holder, and it was very secure to the wall because it was attached directly to a stud. I felt good about that, but then, I suddenly realized that..."I don't want the toilet paper holder up here! I want it down by the toilet, like the drawing I made." The drawing I was referring to is actually a schematic of the bathroom I made on the computer IRL. Near the end of the dream, I was getting the feeling of being conscious.
I think I'm close, folks! I think I'm close!

Just you wait until it happens you'll freak! You seem to be methodically getting closer and closer.

Yes I see myself as thinner and younger in dreams.
In mirrors I look a bit wavering. (shit..should have RC'd)

omg you are getting close! Keep doing your RCs during the day! And keep reminding yourself to stay calm when you do become lucid for the first time. Most people get so excited the first time that they wake up after a coupld of seconds.
Can't wait to hear you've succeeded :)

It's a good idea to imagine what you'll do when you become lucid. Typically you'll want to practice or at least think about stabilization techniques during the day, to keep that fresh in your mind for when the moment occurs. It's way too easy to be caught up in the moment and try to run around like a superhero on crack, which results in an exceptionally short dream. I spent the majority of my first dream looking around, stabilizing, and then tossing a few items around the room.

Ya man, good luck seems like you're getting pretty close. The first few times I had lucids I didn't really know what to do and the dream ended almost immediately on me though or dream would be beyond my control so don't get disappointed with these "drawbacks".
