ok, so, here's what happened:
When I went to bed yesterday, I wore a face mask, well it only covered my eyes. I sat in bed still and tried the WILD technique. So, 1 "I'll remember my dreams when I wake up", 2 "I'll remember my dreams when I wake up", etc.... Sometimes during my counting I would get lost, because, my body was starting to act up. My hands felt really heavy on my chest, my breathing while at first I could hear it, later I was barely aware of it. My feet began to tingle, my mind began to become heavy and I started to hear sounds(beeping) and see some hypno...(sp?) images. I counted my counting throughout and my body did something(can't remember) but after more time, I was spinning, really fast. At this point, I was hoping that I was able to enter the dream state, so, I tried to see if I can makes images in the darkness of my eye lids(I think I had them closed, but, I could be wrong). Funny enough, my ears were working the whole time during this ordeal since I could hear exactly what my family members were doing and saying. Eventually, the whole thing went away, then I turned to my side and slept. My question is, how close was I to actually have an LD and what should I have done next time I reach the same stage? In the morning, I wasn't able to remember my dream at all even though I was counting past 200. I did remember something about a $5 bill and money but that's it :P

Edit: Forget to mention that for some reason, the sleep mask that I was wearing began slipping, so, it was still covering my eyes, but, the strings that I used to keep it on my head fell a couple of times, not sure the distance but it wasn't much :)
