I am one of those dreamers that has a very hard time remaining awake while attempting to WILD :? I always hear talk about anchors but never really know a good one is or how to effectively use it. Can i get some ideas please?

The FILD uses the finger anchor. Pain anchor as billybob has said.uhmm.counting? using a picture?
You can count your breaths
Trying your hardest to stop any wandering thoughts that come to mind, or actively following your wandering thoughts (I recommend the former though).
Paying attention to your body and how it relaxes as you go to sleep.
Lying in a position that you just can't fall asleep in.
Dull throb, sounds, conversation, temperature, thoughts that you passively notice.
can you use music as an anchor i mean like not really loud buh just listen to something and pay attention to it so that your body goes to sleep ?
