New WILD/VILD technique?

This might not be anything new but I've never read anything about it before...

While trying to do a WILD what you do is passively observe the random Hypnogogic Images that pop into your head and as they do you tell yourself (in your head) what they are. Eg: "I see a baseball", "a hat" "an old man dancing in a G-String" "Emoticon of man waving his butt cheeks :buns: "... whatever, you get the point; the more random the better. You want to get rid of any concious effort on your part. Don't worry about what it is just observe what your mind is randomly producing. This applies to Auditory hallucinations aswell.

If you don't see images to start with just tell yourself what you're seeing even if it's just spots . You will find that as you start entertaining this random production of images they become more frequent and more vivid untill eventually you enter a dream. In effect this is quite opposite to most WILD techniques that tell you to ignore HI as it usually causes you to lose conciousness. How this differs is that by constantly comentating on your HI you incourage the dream state while still remaining concious. I guess you could just call it another anchor but anyway I found it quite an amuzing approach because as most of you know, WILDing can get quite tidious sometimes.
