Music Induced Lucid Dream(MUILD)
If any of you are like me then you have probably tried lots of induction methods to enter lucid dreams, well I was lying in bed the other night, listening to my ipod when I realized that my body was becoming very relaxed when my mind was focusing on listening to music. So I made a playlist the next day of songs that I enjoyed, and that night went through the standard WILD techniques(sleeping 4-6 hrs, waking) and added my music to this.:)
Instead of just laying there idly, I was able to keep my mind focused on something and keep it awake. I was able to keep my body motionless and so I entered sleep paralysis and went to HI alot more quickly than I had in the past.
I was excited and woke up after this, but I'm sure if I keep at it tonight it will lead to a lucid dream. Maybe some of you have done this already, but it is a fairly effective way of induction.
Note: This is not like binural beats, instead of using sounds with specific frequencies you are just playing music.
