my mind is messing with me

i took a nap earlier and i tried practicing MILD.
i had this dream that i was in my yard and i was in a little goat coral and there was an ostrich inside and i was scared it was going to attack me.

I woke up and tried going back to sleep while thinking about what it would be like if i was lucid in that dream. my goal is to become lucid and fly over downtown sandiego and night time. so i pictured i did and tried keeping the thought as i drifted to sleep.

i had a dream that i was there. Yes downtown and i was across the bay looking at the city lights. and i did think something was wrong like there was a duplicate of the whole city across another bay but i never became lucid.

anyone else have anytips or suggestions or wanna share their experiences?

your minds not messing with you, that same type of thing will happen to me actually. Becoming lucid is a weird thing and it has to be initiated by you, not your mind so much. Get what I'm saying because I don't...well, you have to initiate the logic part of your mind or the more conscious part of it while in the dream which either will happen or it won't. Anyways, I say your close.
I usually can only control my dreams like that, like think about dreaming something and then doing it, with sexually thematic dreams ;)
