There should be a tutorial under the archive section, but, a DILD is a Dream Initiated Lucid Dream meaning that within the dream, you realize that you are dreaming and thus become lucid. Usually, there are two things that are done to practice DILDing:
1) Do RC(Reality Check- check fingers on your hands, try fingers through palm, try breathing with closed nose, check time twice or three time, etc....)
These reality checks are done during RL(Real Life) and when you do them enough in RL or because of some dreamsign, then in the dream, if you see that dreamsign or you just keep your procedure going, these checks will fail, as in you'll see more than 5 fingers, your fingers go through your palm, you can breath through a closed nose or the time will not be displayed correctly, will keep changing, become alphabets, etc.... Make sure to RC whenever you see a dreamsign and as many times as possible during the day :)
2) Keep a Dream Journal. Make sure that you write in it everyday and as much details as possible. Keep this practice up as well.
If you do these two steps and think about LDing before bed, having a DILD requires no more effort on your part, because, you'll eventually get one. Some people can get one pretty quick(my first and only LD was a DILD one week after I started) and others have to wait a while to get one. Don't get discouraged, you'll eventually get one, just make sure to keep up the practice. Good luck :)
