I'm guessing that one wouldnt work. Try something like, "the next time i open my eyes, it will be a dream." that MIGHT work
It might help a tiny bit but not much. I would reccomend the WBTB method to you if you're in to that kind of stuff; it really works. I got 3 lucid dreams in 1 night using the Wake Back To Bed technique.
I've only had one lucid dream (two if you count catching a false awakening) years ago. I did it by visualizing myself waking up from a dream as I was falling asleep. On the third night, I got lucid. Then I dreamed I woke up and got lucid again. It never occured to me to try again until recently. But visualization before bed worked great for me that one time.
Of course that's a little different from a mantra type deal
how long were you up for the WBTB? and what did you do during it/ when going back to sleep?
ty there was 1 witch i did where i was realy tired nd i had a nap for 1 hour then i went to bed like 5 hurs later that night i had 4 lucid dreams and 4 false wake ups do ou think it will work agein
As I was falling asleep, I established an in and out breathing pattern. On my inhale established the intention to become lucid. On the pause between the inhale and the exhale, I continued to feel the intention. On the exhale, I actually visualized myself in a dream scene, and becoming lucid. And then I repeated it untill I fell asleep. Same scene every time.
The funny thing is that the dream i became lucid in was nothing like the scene but it worked anyway. Then I just never tried again for eight years or so. I'm not always the sharpest tool in the shed ;)
cool idea. Sort of like MILD
