SP on accident
Hello,
I am kinda confused, i have been sleeping every night since i was born and have never had sleep paralysis once. now, after knowing what it was for about four days, it is hard for me to fall asleep with out my body shutting down before my brain.
Does anyone know why?
Also, i am the kinda person who likes to sleep with lots of blankets on. so i actually like sleep paralysis. Does anyone else feel this?

Are you actually becoming paralyzed, or just experiencing and remembering hypnagogic hallucinations? Lots of people begin to remember their HH after hearing about it.

Hmmm... Yes a little more explanation/description would be nice...
When your "body shuts down before your mind" what exactly are you feeling?

most of the time i do acctually feel myself become paralyzed.
I know what you are talking about though because i have expirienced that before. I heard something that frightened me alot during one of my hallucinations the second time i tried to WILD and every time i tried to fall asleep for the rest of that night i would hear it even though i wasnt actuall hallucinating. Just my mind playing tricks on me.
Thankyou for mentioning that though because now i will have it in my mind to make sure i am really paralyzed so that i am not confused in the future.

sorry, i didnt get your post cause i was typing mine and yours popped up when i hit post.
To describe what is happening:
I am laying there in bed and a weird wave of heaviness blankets over me, and i expireince this feeling of not being able to move my body. I wiggle my toes to get out of SP because that is how i know to do so. The only way to prevent it seems to be to keep moving. I eventually just go into SP and then fall asleep.
It surprises me that people (from what i have heard) dont accidentaly go into SP all the time while just laying there trying to fall asleep.
