Might want to try doing the same task for a couple of days in a row and see if you do well that way? Have it in your mind long enough to allow you to process it? How many other people are having trouble? We could make it the Every-Other-Day-Dreamsign and see if that helps? (it would certainly make my creative job easier!!! :D)
Think about other things with glass... picture frames, drinking glasses and house windows as you've said, the taillights windows and lights on the car, the lights in your house, clock faces, drink bottles, the streetlights outside, any decorations or things like that... plus, anything that reminds you of glass, like the word 'fragile' or things of that nature.
I think you have to keep reminding yourself all the time, keep it in the front of your mind and make it a habit. I seem to be getting better each day and my prospective memory is very poor.
I think every other day would work fine Shift. People can always use your zeros if they want a fresh sign each morning.
Today's sign will be the same as yesterdays, but I have added a poll to this thread. The poll closes in five days, so please add your opinion. For the next few days I'll switch to an every-other-day schedule, letting the dreamsigns have two days each. If you want to reserve your poll vote until that fifth day, to see if the extra day makes a task easier awesome. If not, use the magic zeros to provide you with a task for the days that I do not. Just please remember to come back and vote so I know how to proceed to make it easier for everyone ;)
Today's task: Become aware every time you see or think of GLASS!!! Reality check first and foremost.
Make an effort to become very aware of your surroundings. Do at least three reality checks.
Imagine you have just become lucid, and make sure to 'stabilize'.
Good luck everyone. Remember to visualize ahead of time!

My god, I wish that would happen.:(
I had a LD this morning:banana:. This breaks a three week dry spell and I think it was due to me concentrating hard on this daily dreamsign exercise so thanks Shift :)

Any time you see someone you don't know, reality check! Just... don't go into vans or anything with them, ok?
I find myself randomly remember that there's a random dreamsign, but having to think really hard about what it is. I'm not sure if that's a good thing >.<

Not a lot of people voted in the poll but the winning stance was to make this the every-other-day-ly dreamsign, so I'll update every other date. Each task will last for 48 hours afters its posting. If enough people voice that they'd like it to go back to daily, I'll switch it. Comment here or PM. Also, if you have ideas for new tasks, feel free to PM me! Good luck everyone! Happy lucids :)
Thanks a heap for this Shift, i got a bit lazy with the magic 0's :?
Of course :) Awesome to see you back on board ;)
Today's task: Become aware every time you see or think of READING MATERIALS!!! (books, notepads, magazines, any text/messages/online text, etc.) This means you should have just reality checked. Reality check first and foremost. ;)

Oh... This is gonna be a lot of work.
I was on vacation last week. Did nothing LD related, but recall was really good. I had a dream where I WILDed, and I was lucid in the WILD in the dream, then had a FA.
Hey, I'm using a keyboard to type this... Author's use keyboards to write books.... Books are reading materials.....REALITY CHECK!!!
Bingo, now you're getting the schematic idea behind it all ;)
Oh jeez, I saw an advertising board inside an elevator..."Oh hold up, that's reading" Reality check worked but i woke up like 1 second later, didn't even have time to try and stabilize. :bang::bang:
Shift, in a situation like this should i try to ride out the DEILD or just RC in case its a false awakening?
Awww, bummer :( Congrats on at least getting lucid, though! When it comes to DEILDs, you really take a chance either way. You risk losing the memory of the earlier dream, and you also risk those FAs. The good news is that you can do a couple of reality checks without moving (ex: close your throat/nose from the inside and try to breath). The other thing is, you can still try to reality check and move just a little bit before a DEILD attempt. Ignore all that nonsense about not moving the slightest bit. If you really feel the need, go ahead and hold your hand up, look at your fingers, try to push a finger, etc. Obviously keep it limited, but if you move a few millimeters you're not going to destroy it by default.
The ridiculous obsessions and misunderstandings about sleep paralysis have made lucid dreaming a lot more difficult than I think it actually is. So go ahead and RC. Keep some writing or a digital clock near your bed so that you just have to crack the eyeballs and peek.
Today's task: Become aware every time you hear or think of AGE. Reality check first and foremost.
Make an effort to become very aware of your surroundings. Do at least three reality checks.
Imagine you have just become lucid, and make sure to 'stabilize'.
The age of people, animals, buildings, drinks and food (expiration dates?), cars, whatever!
Good luck everyone. Remember to visualize ahead of time!
I think i understand you on that one. So i can move but not so much that it gets me out of that "sleeping groove"(if that makes sense). From what i've read sleep paralysis seems so very complicated but i'm guessing that until you've experienced it for yourself you can't really imagine what its like.
Thanks for fast reply, sleep time in an hour, hope tonight goes a tad better!

I'm off to a good start already. First thing I did this morning was plop down next to my dad on the couch and stare mindlessly at golf. Then as it focused on some golfer's face I was watching him talk when I remembered the Daily Dreamsign and it took me a minute to remember that it was hats, and I'd been reminded because the guy was wearing a hat. I think I've already RCed about 6 times this morning!
