WANTED: Some Guinea Pigs for new technique!

Hey all.

I've been writing up an LD guide, specifically for the WILD technique. This is something I've been working on for a while, and I've been changing as I go along, and I think I'm ready for human testing in the next week or two.

What I need are a few people of differing stages of development. What I would like to have is;

1 person new to the WILD technique and looking to learn it. Preferably someone looking for their first WILD. They must be familiar with lucid dreaming and I would prefer they've had a lucid dream before so know what to expect.

2 people at a beginner level, but has some experience at WILD and has attempted and achieved a couple of WILDs since trying.

1 fairly advanced lucid dreamer, preferably with the WILD technique. More for validation and shaping of the technique.

I'm a 1. No WILD success yet, but had 2 LDs this year.

I'm 2 on WILD, I mean, never suceeded at WILD(almost, 3 times), but I have all the experience that I don't have problems with itching and all of those things...

I've experienced WILD 1 time, I know alot about WILD because I keep reading about it and trying a god technique for me, anyway I'd like to join but as I said, I need to know if I can rly help you =)

I would like to be a 1 >< Im willing to try anything since Ive tried WILD a lot and never succeeded. but Im very familiar with ld and have had like 5 dilds.

Basically this new technique is dependant on sleep deprivation and REM rebound to work. So basically I need subjects who are willing to test this theory. It works perfectly for me, well too good actually, so just wanted to try it on some others :)

Sounds interesting. Will you make the technique public for anyone else who doesnt join?

If you are still looking for more people I would give it a try too. I would consider my self a number 2, having had maybe half a dozen WILDs and at least 20 DILDs, but a dry spell in the last few weeks.

Sure lemmefly. What I want is for a couple of people to try it for me, and to be in close contact with me as they try it so I can coach and adjust the technique to make it more applicable to a wider audience. Once I think it is then I will publish for others :)

Sounds interesting. Any idea when you want to kick off? I ask because this coming week will be just about the perfect time as my gf is away.

I would deffinately like to participate. I don't think I've ever had a WILD, though I can lucid if I put my mind to it.
I'm a pro at sleep deprivation though :D Can meds or other substances (caffeine etc) be used during this trial?

Well i have decided to become a member now, after being a spectator to these forums for a while i decided to register and hope to get in on this project :D ive had three LD's so far they were Dilds, But i am fairly knowledgeable to Wild and its Variations

Count me in. I'm in no way new to lucid dreaming (I've been familiar with them and trying for at least two years or so now). So I'm very knoledgable on all the theory and different tecniques and so on. I've however only had about four or five lucid dreams in total, and you could consider me completely new to WILD - I've tried before but never achieved.

I hope I can be of use :).

Ok, thanks adam, well I think I won't join, I actually need my hours of sleep during the weeks soo I could only try this during the weekends. Anyway I'll follow this thread and watch how things are going =), Have fun Folks :3

I think I may be a perfect candidate. I sleep deprive a lot due to how I study and rather enjoy it actually. I have had a lot of success with getting LD after going awhile without sleep. I have had a couple of WILD attempts but they have yet to work, although about half the time it induced a LD later when I did a RT.

Hey mate.

Would be happy to take part in your experiment, I have never been a wilder i have tried a few times but i am the type that has problems DE-focusing on the body. And i have much free time on my hands and can mess my schedule up as much as you would please :P

Anyway if you want to include me your welcome :)

if so you can count me in on number 1, ive had zero success with the WILD but have had many DILD's

If its not to late, i would like to join. Pretty experienced lucid dreamer, im keeping a journal of my progress, its on here, and ive had 4 lucids in 3 nights, and one was a wild on accident. I can do wilds, had a lot of them before i would say atleast 20ish. So i think i would be in the 3rd catagory?

Because he probably dosen't want to make a mistake and post a placebo if he is not 100% sure what the technique is doing, the reason why a test is useually best before releseing the final :)

Adam, I have had 1 WILD, and sleep depravation doesn't bother me at all, so if you do need another tester, I would be more than happy to help.

0 wilds a few lucid dreams and I really don't care about sleep deprevision at all and I can tell you if it works or not

I would like to try. I'm not sure i fit into those little types very easily though.

I've had about 20-30 lucids since my first one in March of '09. I've been lucid dreaming on and off since august (which is why I'm not 100% sure of the amount of lucids I attained, I DILD very easily, but don't journal on occasion)

All of my dreams were eatehr MILD or DILD, except one which was DEILD. I haven't been able to replicate it after that one time. I can't WILD well at all.

So, I'm experienced with lucid dreaming, but I suck at WILDing. xD
