why does this keep happening to me

About 2 days ago during a dream my dad told me to look into a telescope that was strangly in our living room (we don't even own one) when I looked into it I saw a round shadow that looked like a ufo. Almost instantaniously I fell over and my vission went I tried to move my arms close enough to rub my hands but I could not move them an inch. this all happend in a time frame of about 30 secounds, after which I woke up at about 8:10. Every time I am almost lucid the dream seems to self-destruct. Why does this keep happening?

Well, atleast your getting lucid for less than 10 seconds. Its a start. Better than no lucids at all. Just keep writing them down, and doing whatever you do to help the process. Next time your in lucid, and you realise, just stay calm, and spin around really fast. This should help keep the dream stable. Or there is something distracting you and waking you up in your awake life.
