SP feels like the body doesn't exist?

So, i'm a n00b. obviously. well here I am and too LD'ing. I'm not a n00b to vBulletin forums. I own my own vBulletin license. I've been a web developer for 7 years and what not. Anyways...

I attempted SP last night for the 4th time I believe. I ignored all signals sent from the body to the mind. My body felt like it didn't even exist for a good 10 seconds...Made my body feel like a cloud. It was a neat feeling...But is that really SP? I felt the body vibrations and then my body felt like nothing after that.

Now once I hit SP, i'm suppose to play out a dream in my head?

What are your successful tips of LD'ing once you hit SP..Whats a good way to maintain SP?

Sorry for the double post. But another thing. When that was going on. My family was watching a movie in the other room and it made a be clunk noise and as they noise happened when my eyes were close a flash of blue appeared and went away. It was kinda as if the blue flash made the noise. If that makes sense.

Im not sure. if you lay in one position for a long time you start to feel weightless and cant detect your body, unless you move, but its not sleep paralysis. With sleep paralysis you will know trust me.
