Wierd way to a LD

Ok, I should mention that 2 nights before this I stayed up all night and 1 nigh before i stayed up untill 4:00 AM and woke up at 6:30 AM.

I was feeling like I needed to sleep really bad, The thing was I just could not go to sleep. I got up and walked into the front room turned on the TV and reasted on the couch, I noticed I became very relaxed very, very fast.
I was watching TV while closing my eyes every now and then and then all of a sudden, I'm Lucid. it was creepy how fast I fell into it and I slept for 5 hours while having a LD which seemed like it lasted for 1-2 Hours, I was.. Shocked. As that was my first LD ever =D just thought I'd mention it for people who have friends over and stay up all night.

Id like that some time... What did u do in ur dream?

Anything I thought of... Well could think of, I could not remember what I wanted to do and when I tried hard to remember it would begin to fade so I would say 1/2 time spent talking to DC's. I did not want to do anything fancy like Magic and stuff because it was only my first and Btw, It was like 4 Dreams seperate but I did not wake up... And ALOT of trippy stuff happened... It blew my mind :)

Congrats. This would be classified as a WILD, or a CAT, from the description. (Wake induced lucid dream=WILD and cycle adjustment technique=CAT) I'm surprised that you lasted an hour; as far as I'm aware, most people last a few seconds their first time.

Mine only lasted a few seconds:(
I realized I was dreaming, felt all tingly from excitement, tried to do something really fast because the dream was starting to fade, and then woke up. I didn't even think of staying calm and stabalizing the dream.

That's really interesting. While I have a very good dream recall, I haven't had a lucid dream yet. I guess a thoroughly disrupted sleep cycle induced it. :)

The only reason I believe it lasted so long was because I was so Tired but the dream was active keeping my brain active, And because it was my first time I stayed calm and did not do anything that would excite me... Boring yet so very interesting. I pretty much just took in the sights and feelings and saw some very strange stuff.
