Have I discovered an induction method?

Taking a leaf from the Increasing Dream Realism tutorial, I decided to give something similar a try. When I played a videogame, I looked at the details used and the textures of the game world. soon afterwards I went to bed. I woke up at 7.30 not remembering any dreams. Once I woke up, I looked at all the details of my wristwatch for around 10 minutes, looking at and feeling all the textures, the colours, the grooves, just about every single detail I could possibly find in my wristwatch. I went back to sleep, and I had my most vivid LD ever.

All I am saying is once you wake up, take an object, like a wristwatch, and look at and feel every single detail of that object.

Sounds cool man, I'll give it a try once I finally start LDing more. I guess it's probably not an induction technique, but a good way of increasing realism. Could be very handy.

I just remembered I did have a dream before I had my lucid dream. Now I have remembered it seems to also be quite vivid. I remember being in a fast car going at about 500mph. :shock: I then found myself in a mansion for some reason. I remember one of the windows was brokenand the floor of one of the rooms had a checkerboard pattern.

Roller is right, doesnt sound like an induction technique, but a good way of increasing realism.... if it could be considered an induction technique, it would just be that your watch became a reality check, but your LD didnt even have anything to do with the watch so...
Sounds like it really did make the LD more realistic though, good job on that :P

The watch didn't become a reality check in this dream - I think the whole vividness of the dream triggered lucidity. I will try it again tonight before I sleep.
