Any reason to choose just one of DILD & WILD?
The practices involved with DILD & WILD don't seem to be mutually exclusive. So, is there any reason to choose one over the other?
For instance, the daytime could be a time to work on practicing MILD exercises and getting in the habit of doing reality checks. If one resolves to write down one's dreams every time one wakes up in the night, then it's pretty straightforward to to a short WBTB routine (e.g. go to the bathroom after jotting down dreams) and then attempt to induce a WILD while going back to sleep.
This seems to me like it'd make the efforts for lucidity be a 24/7 practice since you can always do an RC and you can always attempt to WILD while falling asleep.
So, is there any reason not to do this?
