      Sleep Paralysis (Lose Physical Awareness?)

I'm trying to figure out if I was in sleep paralysis or only dreamed I was. I was lying in bed trying to induce a MILD or WILD then suddenly i have no external awareness and I'm hearing rushing noises. I could no longer hear my fan. I even asked myself if I was dead because it freaked me out a little even though I knew what the rushing noises were. Has anything jumped straight to rushing noises without feeling the body shifting into paralysis, vibrations, etc.?

Happened to me again while napping. I feel like I flipped a switch I can't undo. I just spontaneously found myself paralyzed and hearing rushing noises. Another dream? I don't know...

Can any confirm whether they lose awareness of sounds in the room and hear rushing noises while in Sleep Paralysis?

yes sounds are strange during sleep paralysis. the whole experiece is almost surreal and beyond words because it is like a mixture between the real world and a dream. you might hear rushing noises or a buzz/roar. you might also hear absolutely nothing besides the entity you may sense in the room. If this has not happened yet, it is likely to. when this happens it might seem real to all your senses but it is not. with your body paralysed you cant do much so give up trying to physically resist and just ask the entity to leave. if you are religious you can ask a higher power to help. I'm still not sure about the nature of the entities assosiated with sleep paralysis but whether they are real or not, this works.
