well... looks like a lot of us are doing these things, natural or otherwise...
Then later in the article it says "5 Traits of Successful Lucid Dreamers". I wonder if a natural really has to have a "strong desire to learn".
Pretty sure it was stated in the wrong way, boy I want to go to sleep now...
it seems like there are two types of naturals: the ones that have done it continuously for some time... who may not have such a desire to learn the basics of how to do it; and the ones who have natural talent and wish to develop it even further. maybe this article is referring more to those who wish to develop their skills, no matter how good they are already?
don't we have naturals on this board who have gotten better by applying themselves?
Creative streak, yep. Desire to learn, yep. Meditator? No. Balance? Ha. No. Good dream recall? Usually.
According to that list, the only way I'm not a natural lucid dreamer would be that I don't meditate. I think I have pretty good balance, in coordination with the larger environment around me - I don't trip very often, and almost never fall. :D
Artistic streak? Oh God, do I ever have those! XD My creativity comes and goes, and when it comes it's a pretty powerful experience.
it seems like i could add a few more:
good at video games, very artistically oriented, loves sci fi and fantasy, loves stretching the boundaries of reality...
just from looking at who's on this board
if we're not naturals... i think lots of us would like to emulate them...
or the ones who do it best!
anyway, there does seem to be a certain amount of stuff in common amongst boards members... some if not all of the qualities...
i am not a gamer for example, tho i've heard that develops your neuroplasticity... something that would be great for LDing
