Can't break through.
Okay, so i've been keeping dream journals and reading up on LD'ing quite frequently.. But there's one thing that always seems to stump me and i just can't get past it or get any answers. Whenever i try to WILD, I'll lay there, not moving a muscle, completely relaxed, letting my thoughts flow, then it hits me - The whirling "body separation" feeling all over that some get before the transition into a dream. It eventually dies down though and i end up just falling asleep without transitioning into any sort of dream. So I guess my question is: How can I hold onto that whirly feeling and ride it into a lucid dream?
Also, is there something else I should be doing while attempting to WILD that would help me out a bit? :?

Well if you havent had a lucid dream yet, i recommend you dont jump right into trying to WILD. You should try for a DILD(<-Click) because in my opinion(and experience) it is easier for a beginner than a WILD.
Of course, once you get good at DILD you can go for WILD all you want. I just see too many people coming in and trying to do a WILD for their first LD, failing a few times, and then leaving.

Great. Thanks for the reply. I'll definitely check out DILD'ing, and i'm not about to quit out this early on. :P

though never underestimate the power of WBTB WILD. Thats how I got my first LD.

Yeah, I really want to have a successful WILD. That would be amazing. But right now I'll pretty much settle for any method that works.
