Personally, I've been drinking green tea lately and it seems to have kind of helped my recall, might have to do with it's balanced caffeine.

Hey man, I've been trying my arse off for almost two solid months, the only results being 3 piddly little lucids about 3 seconds long... don't stress - I did, and it doesn't help. My recal was awesome, and I had some really cool dreams (my record was 12 in one night), but I didn't pay much attention because I was too stressed on getting lucid. I'm taking a week off from lucid dreaming, and not even thinking about it, I'm gonna try again next week. Don't stress, you've got your whole life to master it.

its been more than 1 year that you are tryng??
maybe theres something that your doing wrong? what technique do you usually try? maybe its the cause of too much stress.
for the herbs you could try salvia it sould be legal where you live (drink it you could smoke it but I dont thing its best thing)
you could try some vitamins B12 this can be easily found.
but theres a lot of tutorials out there you should know it better than me :P

yeah well it hasnt been a year, just takes some time ya know? but i used to be really good at it like really good we're talking every night good. and my recall was off the chart, but now it gets harder and harder as the days go by. i think it might have somthing to do with TV. in the past i watched TV about 3-5hrs day now its about 1-3hrs and well perhaps that has influence? cause i fell asleep in front of the TV. and i would know when i was dreaming...any who i will try some green tea some B12. and i will look for salvia...i dont smoke but i will drink. later days, and happy dreaming.

I've been here for a year now and have had maybe 3 lucid dreams. But that's only because I'm not really actively trying :P I'd like to have more lucid dreams, and when I tell myself "ok from this point on I'M GONNA WRITE IN MY DREAMJOURNAL AND READ MORE AND GET LUCID DREAMS!!!! BBQ!" But for some reason I end up giving up, this time I'm gonna do it for real :P :P

Cloud_#9, nothing can be more depressing than wanting something so badly and trying so hard and it still doesn't happen.
I take that back.. having lucid dreams on a pretty consistent basis and then not being able to is worse (been there.. experiencing that). You never miss the water til the well runs dry.
You might try vitamin B.
There is also an herb called Mugwort that you brew into a tea.. that might be helpful (it can be bought in a healthfood store or over the web).
I know for me any stress (including trying too hard) will prevent my getting lucid.
If you used to fall in front of the tv and what you watched was incorporated into your dreams and helped you to become lucid, I would certainly recommend that you give it a try again.. if only on the weekends.
Take care and good luck!
