Apathy while LDing?
Ok, so I start dreaming, I'm in some park, and immediately go lucid. This are basically my thoughts:
"Hell yeah I'm lucid!!! This will be awesome. Don't get exited. Let's do some RCs just to be sure. *breathe through nose while closed*. Ok that works. Seems sorta fuzzy. *Rubs hands frantically* Ok here we go!"
And then BANG. Nothing. I think I just stopped caring and probably just had a normal dream after that. I don't remember anything but it's annoying as hell because it's been happening a lot lately and there's so much stuff I wanna do. Anybody know any tips to concentrating? Or why it happens anyway? This was during my first few hours of sleep (I didn't WBTB yet). :P

That's very strange, I've never heard of that before.

You mean that after you do a reality check, you lose awareness that you're dreaming? I believe that you should make your reality checks stronger. Make yourself very aware that you're dreaming. Realize that you're not just dreaming, you're actually living inside that dream! Look at your hands, feel them, observe their texture, is it smooth or rough? Listen for any sounds you're hearing, are there cars rushing by (or through) you? Engage as many of your senses as you can. Lift up some object, a bench or rock or something, give it a toss, crawl under something, engage those senses!

I get what's happening to you, I feel the same thing in a way. Once I discover I'm lucid, I'm so excited and yet I don't seem to put enough effort into it to stay lucid.
My own remedy for this is just reading and researching and learning abotu lucid dreaming constantly. I'm always trying to learn new in-dream tactics to motivate myself, and if you get pumped enough, when the time comes where you become lucid, you'll have a lot of motivation and tactics to implement.
At first glance, I'd say just try and keep yourself involved in the dream world around you the moment you become lucid. Engage your senses, all five, as much as possible and really try to indulge in a vivid experience.

Basically, what Clyde said. That one of the first things I do before I go off on completing my goals is I turn on my dream body's senses. Usually I do this by focusing on something smaller, like my hands or my wrists. I grab my wrist and feel how it feels. Then I look around and engage my sight. Look around the room and make sure everything is stable. Once that's done, I try to recall any goals I might want to do.
It took me a while to get to this point. I found what works for me is writing what I call "Practice Lucid Dreams." I use my real DJ entries and re-write them at a point where I could have become lucid and I plan out things like stopping, looking at my hands, touching things and stabilizing. Since I started doing this, it manifested into my LD's like second nature :)
