Is this Hypnagogia?
Occasionally when I'm really tired before I go to bed or when I wake up during the night when I shut my eyes sometimes I'll see scenes. Example: One morning I woke up still feeling really groggy. I rolled over and shut my eyes and started to think about how I felt like eating a pita bread for breakfast. As I thought this I got an image of a pita bread on the counter, and a scene built around it. A woman picked the platter it was on up and moved it onto a chopping board and sliced it in two. Around her was a detailed restaurant setting. This occurred while I was still moving so I don't know what to count it as.
Other times I can hear voices. Last night I was exhausted and as soon as I shut my eyes I started to hear voices saying things that made absolutely no sense. There wasn't any connection to what they said and the voices were internal, just inside my head. It definitely didn't sound like real people in my bedroom with me.
I get this quite often if I'm tired, and I was wondering if this is Hypnagogia if I can start WILDing immediately, even if I haven't slept beforehand. I also was wondering if internal voices was what you got with WILDing, or if they became more real after time.
TY for any help :)

Yes! This is the prime example of Hypnagogic Imagery, and from here is where you somewhat easily attain a WILD.
Instead of visualizing a pita bread, you should imagine something more tactile. The best for me is walking up stairs.
Imagine every movement and every sound and inputting yourself into the dream should be much easier.
Did you know first thing in the morning is when it is the easiest to get a lucid dream? Your REM periods are much longer and much more vivid in this time period.
