Yes. Hell yes. Any guide on WILD says to make sure you are comfortable as possible. I doubt a dog on top of you is increasing your level of comfort or calm and focus.
Being disturbed, especially so far as having an animal jump on you, has negative effects on WILD attempts. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that.
You should have no idea on what's going on around you and pay no attention; in other means, being very relaxed.
@Demara Nice new av and sig. :D
@Connor23: Absolutely. When you're WILDing, you've got to be able to let go of your physical body to go into your dream and be able to consciously slip into sleep. If there's something you're wearing - a bracelet, watch, headphones, etc. - that you can always feel when you're lying there for ten, fifteen, twenty minutes, if you can feel it even a little bit, it's going to lessen the likelihood you'll succeed at WILDing, 'cause it'll keep you conscious of your physical body - which keeps you awake and away from your dreams.
If you can lay in bed with nothing but boxer shorts on, you're golden.
