Here's and advice on Sleep Paralysis!

Have you ever gotten so close in your SP stage where its the transformation from reality to lucidity?

You can feel your body sinking into your bed?

But then all the sudden you awaken out of it with no lucidity?

Well i think i figured out what has stopped me a couple of times from attaining lucidity.

Here it is:

When you feel those vibrations and you feel yourself sinking into a dream, your breathing seems to stop. What causes this awakening is the realization of how i couldn't breath, i took a longer deeper breath and found myself awakened with no lucidity.

Instead of taking that breath i should have focused more on being in a dream. By taking that breath i was hanging on to the reality, so my advice is don't take that reality breath LET YOURSELF GO!

Yeah, just yesterday I tried it with some ear plugs and a sleeping mask. Up until then, the closest I'd gone to even getting into SP was feeling out of breath and some intensifying feelings that I can't really describe. But yesterday at around 7:30 I started to feel my eyes getting heavier and heavier as my relaxation went on, and soon I felt that same 'sinking' feeling and vibrations. But then it all suddenly stopped and I came back to relaxing again.

Letting youreself go is probably one of the best pieces of advice regarding sleep paralysis.
Though, it can be easier said then done for people like me who reguarly hear voices and often feel like there is a presence in my room, getting gradually closer. :panic:
I can't help but start hyperventilating, inevitably exiting from SP.

Though, I suppose the next best piece of advice regarding SP would be to keep trying. :P

Yeah, but it's difficult. I got to that stage, my breathing stopped and I panicked, gasping for breath. If you're counting/focusing on your breaths to get into your WILD you'll notice the stop in breathing almost definitely.

I never noticed anything strange with my breathing when I WILD.But I find it really strange that it never works when I try,instead it works later that night after I have already given up or the next night.Also when I successfully WILDed I never felt the vibrations.It felt different almost every time...:panic:
