Something I might try.
I was reading on about various techniques for attaining lucidity, and one caught my eye that just might work.
It may not be a full-fledged TECHNIQUE, but it seems like it could help.
Basically, before you go to bed, sit up in your bed and do a reality check. Then lay down and slowly count to 100 (counting fast usually keeps you awake). Then when you reach 100, sit up in your bed and do a reality check. Then lay down and slowly count to 100 again. Keep repeating this until your reality check fails.
The idea of it is that you should be relaxed and ready to sleep while you count to 100, so that in the process of counting, you fall asleep but you keep counting in your dream. And once you reach 100 in your dream, you sit up, do a reality check and it fails, making you go lucid.
Just wanted to get people's opinions on this method. It'd probably work better if coupled with another technique, but what does everyone think?

sleep for 90 mins beforehand, then you'd probably have a better chance with it

Sounds good actually, a way to induce False Awakenings with RC included, I like.

Jay: Thanks, I'll do that.
Walms: Yeah, that's what I thought too. Hopefully it shows some results~

That is an excellent idea. I will try this tomorrow. let us know!

I will. I haven't gotten around to trying it yet for various reasons. It might not work sure-fire right away on the first night though. Anything could happen.

Sounds like a good idea to me! and I agree with Jay, sleep before hand or and maybe do it with a WBTB. A very interesting idea. Im might have to try that for a week or 2 myself and see how it goes! i wonder if it would throw you into sleep paralysis too... you go to sit up and then suddenly you cant....very interesting....

Sounds interesting. I'll try to get around to trying this.
