Weird reality problem

So last night, after failing at a WILD attempt, I decide to try to have a MILD. During a dream, I noticed a nickelodeon character beside me, and I think to myself this can't be right... So I decide to do a reality check. Both of them worked though... I tried the nose one, and I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I knew it was a dream, and I attempted to shoot a fire ball out of my hand.... Nothing happened and the nickelodeon character is like "WTF u doing lol". But I KNEW it was a dream... My dreams are like movies though... Could I have been dreaming about me getting a lucid dream? This also could have been a daydream... But I'm not sure. Any comments appreciated Ty.

well you where probably lucid dreaming if you knew to reality check and attemt to shoot a fireball. but dream control is a skill you need to practice. some things are easy for different people. i cant fly but i used telekenisis on the first try. your subconsious was probably aware enough to tell you you cant shoot fireballs in real life. you need to tell yourself that its a dream and you can do whatever you damn well please.
