Giving Dreams
My girlfriend talks in her sleep sometimes, so one time I decided to talk back to her, and soon discovered that I could give her dreams by talking her through them, and she would tell me about them when she woke up. Also I could ask her questions about things that she normally wouldnt tell me the answer to, and she will answer them. I am relatively new to lucid dreaming, and was just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences?
Also, could this state be useful for say, lucid dream instruction or OBE's?

LOL, wow...
I think that, if she is listening to you and following pretty much everything you tell her, then it would be great for you to maybe try and tell her, after you direct the dream a little bit, that she is in fact dreaming, and call her, and repeat that "it is a dream"
Maybe point out something ridiculous, like instruct her to see a green horse, and when she does; tell her that can't happen in real life, there are no green horses, its a dream... as soon as one realizes its a dream, one can start taking control over it... as I'm sure you've read, most of the time we realize we are dreaming, when we see something impossible and point it out....
But wow, so she talks in her sleep, and you can actually have sort of a conversation with her?... that's really interesting...

And how does she feel about this? What kind of dreams do you make her have? Dreams of the Empire State Building? Sexual Dreams, perhaps?

Lol, yeah she likes it, because I can give her any dream she wants. Funny thing is, I usually just do it right when she goes to sleep, but it would probably be better to wait for the REM period.
Also, I tried telling her it was a dream, and she didnt believe me. I told her to count her fingers, and she had four, then I said, "arent you supposed to have five?" "No, just four" she said. Same result when I told her she was flying, she thought it was normal. I thought that was rather strange but interesting. Maybe some waking effort is also needed on her part in order to achieve lucidity.
